Mock Building Company

Mock Building Company, a family owned business, was founded in 1932 by Guy E. Mock. From 1932 to 1954 most of the construction was residential in the Raytown area. In 1954 Larry Mock joined his father, Guy, in the business, developing land, building small commercial buildings and townhouses.
Mock Building Company was incorporated in 1979 with Larry Mock and his three children, Steve, Linda and Dorothy as the owners. Steve and Dorothy are active in the company and are directors along with Larry and Linda. Speculative and custom built homes are available in Villa Meadows, as well as lots. Lots are also available in Villa Woods. If the homes are not what you are looking for we have other plans to show you, or we could build from your plans. We can also custom build at other locations in Eastern Jackson County.
Our prices are very competitive as we develop the raw ground into finished homesites, draw our plans and specifications, supervise all construction, provide decorating services, if needed, and provide our construction money as well as sell our own homes. The sales office is located at 12000 E. 89th Terrace in the Villa Meadows community, and is open daily Monday through Friday, 9:00 - 5:00 and open weekends from 1:00 to 4:30 and also by appointment.
Mock Building Company provides in house design, plans, decorating help if needed, as well as the construction financing of their homes. The company has been an active member of the Homebuilders Association of Greater Kansas City since 1958. The company has received multiple awards for their homes.
